Joining the ever increasing long line of bad behavior is the visage of James Kuehne, 31 who today went on to be charged with gang assault, assault and criminal mischief charges in relation to the Alexian Lien beating.
Gothamist goes on to note that prosecutors added that James Kuehne was one of at least five or six motorcyclists who could be seen on video beating Lien “at least three times while he was on the ground” with his helmet.
And then there’s this interesting nugget that had my tongue rolling in awe and anticipation:
gothamist: Kuehne’s lawyer told reporters that he expected new evidence to be released that would give new context to the melee: “He happens to be an individual that’s very upset and very distraught about this entire situation,” said lawyer Joseph Mure. “I promise you as this case goes on, we’re going to hear things that took place that day a lot different than were shown on the videos. Things are not always what they seem to be.“
James Kuehne’s lawyer’s statements again echo the sayings of various bikers who have since stepped forward to tell that Alexian Lien is the instigator of September 29’s hostilities and that not all sides of the story have yet been heard.
Interestingly James Kuehne’s appearance comes as the man in the center of the beating nervously went on to dodge the media as he made his first public appearance since the milieu, careful to not answer any questions.
Jostling reporters did not fail to notice that AlexienLien was still nursing the scars of his beating….
