It is now being revealed that James Holmes days prior to his shooting rampage had approached a number of women on sex dating website adult friend finder.
At present it is understood that most of those chats had not been sexual in nature (perhaps not in the very beginning but this is a sex site let us not forget) and that James Holmes had simply been reaching out.
Reports the dailymail:
The PhD dropout wrote on the site that he was looking for ‘a fling or casual sex’ – and described himself as ‘a nice guy’.
But one of the women who was in contact with Holmes told TMZ she thought he was ‘just looking to maybe chat… nothing sexual’.
He asked to meet up with her but she turned down the request, as did two other women who talked to TMZ about their communication with him.
Could it simply have been an effort by James Holmes to reach out to someone and look for comfort, even in a venue where comfort may not be the first priority? Or was this just a young man taking his chances and seeing what or who would come out of the woodwork if he just put himself out there?
