In what may turn out to be one of the most perverse revelations pertaining to the mayhem at Aurora, Colorado is the fact that shortly before James Holmes dropped out of the University of Colorado‘s medical center is the fact that he had been planning on conducting a seminar on how the tiniest bits of genetic material could signal psychiatric and neurological disorders.
Thought widely now to be experiencing his own kind of neurological transgression the former neuroscience Phd student if anyone must have had an acute awareness of his deteriorating mental state or at least the agitation of it given that he specialized in such matters.
What immediately comes to mind is the former drug addict who now doubles as a counsellor to troubled addicts, yet in this case James Holmes never got to offer any guidance to anyone and quickly pulled out before he could. Perhaps it was a situation of releasing the absurdity of being in a position to document on such matters when he himself was acutely aware of his own mental demise.
