In what many would say is a fitting pay off to the drama otherwise known as the Whitney Houston rise to fame and riches and journey to hell courtesy of ex Bobby Brown, Whitney Houston’s estate has just released the particulars of the late singer’s estate.
insideedition: Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina gets everything: all of Houston’s money, furniture, clothing, personal effects, jewelry, and cars.
The money will be placed in a trust until Bobbi Kristina, who is now 19, turns 21. She gets more money when she turns 25, and the rest when she is 30.
Houston’s beloved mom Cissy was named as Executor in the Will, but Wednesday, she renounced the appointment. A Fulton County, Ga. Probate Judge then named Whitney’s sister-in-law, Patricia Houston as the sole administrator of the estate.
The will does go on to mention Bobby Brown but he is awarded nothing.
What though may be interesting to note is that Sony who fronted the singer millions of dollars may have first dibs of whatever the estate releases although it remains unclear whether the estate is exempt from any liabilities incurred during the time Whitney Houston was alive. Of course there is rampant speculation that Bobby Brown will be claiming poverty and trying to eke out a few dollars from his daughter but with Cissy as the executor you can pretty much count that out.
Another side note that would surely please the Houston family is that the estate will be released piecemeal which in effect will force Bobbi Kristina to pace herself and hopefully not fall off the wagon where she has been publicly exposed capitulating to rampant drug abuse.
