It seems current indications with the upcoming interview this Sunday with Whitney Houston‘s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown and Oprah Winfrey are at present pointing to a riveting tear jerker as images of the interview which was recently filmed are now beginning to make their way round.
In one heart breaking image, Bobbi Kristina is seen embracing her interviewer in a heart felt embrace, which is keeping in line that Ms Winfrey has been perceived as a family insider worthy of confiding to. Of course confiding ones secrets and thoughts has been a nebulous affair since the death of fallen idol Whitney Houston with various sensitive grievances being publicly flung on the web as well what many would argue were the sale of insensitive and tasteless images of Ms Houston lying in an open casket.
Confiding to Ms Winfrey, the 19 year old Bobbi Kristina reasons that the reason she decided to give this interview was because Ms Winfrey “was loyal to my mom, and never did my mother wrong, or made her look bad. She always looked out for my mom.”
Other reasons which point indicate why the 19 year old gave the interview include the feeling that Ms Winfrey wouldn’t seek to exploit the situation or ask tenuous questions that perhaps Bobbi Kristina would rather not answer on TV: such as Whitney Houston’s purported drug use, her own alleged drug useand perhaps even more pressing her destabilizing melt down and attempts at suicide.
Of course there may be another reason why Bobbi Kristina has chosen to publicly break the ice with Oprah Winfrey who since the beginning of the year has been absent on her twitter account. Writes celebdirtylaundry:
Whitney Houston and her daughter, Bobbi Kristina, shared the same drug dealer according to sources who have come forward. It is alleged that in the final months of Whitney’s life she was getting regularly supplies with drugs from a dealer named Jay who drove a black Cadillac Escalade when he made his deliveries. But here is the ugly twist: an insider reveals that Jay was not only ‘taking care’ of Whitney but he was also supplying drugs and booze to 18-year-old Bobbi Kristina!
It may all end up being a great feel good interview and in the end it may allow audiences a collective exhalation of pent up tension but more than likely it will probably raise more questions than it ever dare answer publicly. Then again perhaps if one thinks of the upcoming interview as a manipulated infomercial as opposed to a serious investigation of what went wrong one’s expectations of getting to the core of the Houston family drama will for the time being be tempered.
