How Cord Cedeno a regular at Pulse Orlando nightclub came to realize that there was something very off about Omar Mateen who’d been trying to hit on him ongoing.

Cord Cedeno has told of his shock after discovering the Pulse Orlando mass gunman was the same individual who’d attempted over the course of the year to hit on him.

Despite receiving a series of what Cedeno describes as ‘creepy messages’ via the same sex dating app. Grindr, Cord Cedeno, 23 told he knew well enough to stay clear from Oscar Mateen, insisting in an interview with msnbc, that ‘there was something off with him.’

In the exclusive, Cedeno tells how Mateen had tried flirting with him through Grindr, an app that advertises itself on the Apple store as a way to ‘find guys close to you for chatting and meeting anywhere in the world.’

‘I instantly blocked him because he was very creepy in his messages,’ Cedeno told NBC.

Cedeno is one of at least three same sex men who claim Mateen used the risque dating app to try to connect with them.

Kevin West, who frequented Pulse, the nightclub where the Sunday morning bloodbath unfolded, told the Los Angeles Times that Mateen messaged him on another app, Jack’d, for about a year.

West had never gone out with Mateen, but said he saw him just hours before the shooting started when he dropped a friend off at a downtown Orlando club.

Told West: ‘He walked directly past me. I said ,’Hey,’ and he turned and said, ‘Hey,’ and nodded his head.’

Told another patron, Ty Smith via the orlandosentinel: ‘Sometimes he would go over in the corner and sit and drink by himself, and other times he would get so drunk he was loud and belligerent,’

‘We didn’t really talk to him a lot, but I remember him saying things about his dad at times. He told us he had a wife and child.’

Mateen’s ex-wife, Sitora Yusufiy, revealed Monday that she noticed ‘gay tendencies’ in her former husband during their short lived three-month marriage before she got out citing Mateen’s tendencies to beat her up and abuse her.

Mateen’s father, however, who expressed his own disdain for homosexuality, and who many suspect may have been instrumental in imparting his son’s self loathing as he struggled to come to terms with his sexuality and the strict mores of family and religious life, has since told ‘there was no way his son could have been gay or bisexual.’

‘If he was gay,’ he posed to the Palm Beach Post, ‘why would he do something like this?’
