The kids at DSquared2 have just come up with their 2012/13 fall/winter ad campaign and can I unabashedly say I love it.
As conceived through the creative lenses of Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott and shot at the charismatic Ragged School Museum, the campaign features the talent and beauty of models Benedikt Angerer, Simon Van Meervenne, Liuk Bass, Ralf Javoiss, Daphne Groeneveld, Frida Aasen and Bette Franke (wont one of them come in move with me so I could drool alongside them in the living room?) whom all played up-to-no-good high-school students. Naturally.
Additional cast includes the surprise casting of Eric and Joan Ribera as ‘butlers’ and Ratka Mayor as ‘the teacher’. Needless to say teaacher is a hawt bixch too.
Dsquared²’s trademark tough-in-cheek, paradoxical appeal is further emphasized by the rambunctious and happy-go-lucky 1960’s pop tune ‘The Clapping Song’ by Shirley Ellis, which created the perfect audio and visual union. In other words very scallywagy indeed?
Isn’t it time you bixches stepped into Dsuared2 boutique and got with the feeling? Please bring back one of the hawt bixches and the purple vest (in the video).
