Looks like life is getting out of hand again in that part of the world where life is always ‘sugar coated’ and hand delivered.
Out of the NY Post this morning comes the tale of Lexie the pooch who had to endure having her pride and self respect tainted with when her owner – Donna McPherson left her momentarily outside as she tended to doing those things that people in ‘Park Slope’ do only to return and find sans her ivory shiny dog coat.
“How could anyone steal a coat off someone’s back in the freezing cold?” McPherson railed to The Post. “I asked him, ‘Where’s your coat?’ like he could answer me. I looked all over and could not find it.”
Confused and shocked that such a thing could happen in her ‘hood’ Donna McPherson summonsed the courage to start asking onlookers if they were wearing Lexie’s dog coat. Flummoxed she proceeded to live her life in a daze before deciding to write about it in a blog called- Effed.
Not wanting to have Lexie think that she was no longer loved or for that matter living in the wrong part of town Donna McPherson acquired two new dog coats for Lexie (but none for herself). In any event, dog and owner are once again happy but one does have to wonder how diabolical life has become now that dog coat thieves are lurking in ‘Park Slope,’ Brooklyn.
