Sarah Palin’s chance to indoctrinate herself with rap stars and counter culture evaporates…the grief.
First it was on and now it’s off, the much tooted segment with rap star LL Cool J which was to be featured on the show “Real American Stories,” which Sarah Palin will be hosting for one night courtesy of usual media whore Greta Van Susteren‘s has been called off. Fearing he might potentially be misrepresented in a segment that he participated in 2008 on Sarah’s watch LL Cool J insisted the piece be canned. Potentially denying the aspiring media whore with a media coup, Fox the network that champions the aspiring media whore reacted by stating the following:
“‘Real American Stories’ features uplifting tales about overcoming adversity and we believe Mr. Smith’s (otherwise known as LL Cool J) interview fit that criteria,” said a spokeswoman for the network. “However, as it appears that Mr. Smith does not want to be associated with a program that could serve as an inspiration to others, we are cutting his interview from the special and wish him the best with his fledgling acting career.”
Of course the irony of the whole episode is that the whole charade was organized to boost the aspirant career of the Alaskan dictator and rather than be used as goose bait LL Cool J in a rather determined manner rescinded the network’s permission to use footage of him in a prior time. How charming and misguided for FOX to insinuate that the episode would have promoted the best interests of LL Cool J when even culture deprived neophytes know that it’s Sarah Palin who’s looking to shove her proverbial penis into greater society.
