While performing at her old So-Cal high school this week, Katy Perry enacted every high school loner chic’s dream of exacting sweet revenge on her old crush while on stage, like, totally embarassing him in front of the entire school.

‘You were the most popular kid in my class! But you never wanted to date me, it was always Amanda Wayne.
‘Oh yeah, you really chose right honey. What’s up. What’s up now, player. I’m going to dedicate this next one to Shane Lopes everyone.’
The song was, of course, “Ur So Gay” (note the eloquent high-school style misspelling) ; but I mean, who shouldn’t reconsider their sexuality after turning down Katy Perry?
In the moment of what could only be divine irony that followed, “Katy then broke into I Kissed A Girl in front of the entire student body of 2,000 students.”
Unfortunately, Katy didn’t proceed to do it. Maybe Shane just turned her down because she’s always been a bit of tease.
To add to it, Katy ended with a speech in which she said: High school can be tough, but you know what? You’re stronger than that.’
Nothing more satisfying than following your own advice, Katy.
