VD: You have the demands of the client and from there you have what inspires you individually. I think the challenge is to find subtle ways to express beauty and form.
Charmed, I then ventured over to Victor’s muse,- Brazilian born Caroline Trentini who when asked what the role of the model was had this to say?
CT: It’s to create a feeling that the person looking can identify with and want for themselves.
SCV: But what is that people want?
CT: It depends. For me it’s to come close to the idea, the feeling that the photographer is looking for.
SCV: In many of the pictures you are nearly naked. One also senses some vulnerability. Was it difficult to work with Victor?
CT: In fact, we have known each other for a while and I feel completely at ease with him and I think this trust is what you see in the picture.
Further wandering found this author with melancholic tendencies, good cheer and a double take as he finally left the gallery. Thank you Victor and Caroline for a wonderful evening.
