Kelly Clarkson is once again addressing the gay rumors that seem to follow her wherever she goes, telling Now Magazine in an exclusive interview this week, “I’m not gay,” stating, “When I tell people I’m happy being single, they don’t believe me. They say: ‘You have to be miserable being alone’.” Kelly has expressed several times that she is very married to her career and when a relationship happens for her, it’ll happen.
It has been quite some time since Kelly has been linked to a man – famous or otherwise; her last boyfriend being tour partner Graham Colton in 2005, and before that, dating former Evanescence member and well-known songwriter David Hodges – a break-up that turned out quite nasty with Hodges allegedly cheating on Clarkson.
Hmm. The more KC addresses these rumors, however, the more one has to wonder if she actually has something to hide?
Clarkson will be taking to the Grammy stage this weekend with country singer Jason Aldean where they will perform their duet “Don’t You Want To Stay” – the duo is also nominated for the hit single. The Grammy Awards air Sunday at 8 P.M. on CBS.
Her current single, “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)” just hit #1 on the Billboard Top 100 chart.
