There’s nothing more ironical than celebrating the virtues of the earth than holing oneself up in a swanky nightclub far away from what passes as the sweet virtues of our natural terrain for that of the pacifier of having a good old drink and glare down at the hot little things that keeps the earth smiling during the day. That said, that is exactly what we did last Thursday as we dropped by Juliet Supperclub to pay our well wishes to Brittany Mendenhall, newly appointed Editor in Chief of Joonbug and to that of Steve Lewis of Blackbook mag who had a hard time recognizing me because of the unnatural (or perhaps seemingly rare sight) of a brisk little moustache that I like to tend to.
Who else was there was Christine Marchuska who by now we all know makes a wonderful effort of making environmentally friendly clothes that spare the eco system- something we could all drink to. Other sights included Sally Shan who I have decided no longer understands what natural daylight looks like anymore because of her extensive nightclub commitments and a motley of usual photogenic types that helped keep the ice cubes in my drink percolating.
