Candela’s Fall 2013 presentation was all about romantic floor-length dresses and skirts in sheers, silk and lace.
The light dresses flowed to the ground, and the models wore simple cardigans overtop that could keep one warm and cozy on those cold winter nights, despite dresses that seemed nothing but. One pale pink dress looked like a fancy nightgown in the front, with a beaded v-cut out in the back, which left the model’s back bare and lovely. A simple long-sleeved cotton maxi-dress in a light grey was also a crowd pleaser, and added to the lounge-y feel of the collection.
One also saw sweatshirts layered over intricately beaded skirts, and high top socks paired with pointed toed flats – a thrown-together look that translated as put-together, for an effortless daytime to night transition.
If your closet consisted of only Candela for Winter 2013, you need not worry about venturing outside in the frost, as fur collared coats and sweaters could allow for additional dreamy layering.
