Virginia woman, Christine Alyce Slayman sentenced to 40 years after producing 18 videos of her sexually abusing six year old boy.

A 28 year old Virginia woman has been sentenced to 40 years jail after admitting to filming herself sexually abusing a six year old boy.

Christine Alyce Slayman, 28, pleaded guilty to producing 18 videos of her either abusing the youngster or instructing them to engage in sex acts.

In her defense, Slayman insisted she was forced into it by her boyfriend, who has not yet been indicted.

Investigators say Slayman abused the infant over several months in 2015, when she was living in King William, Virginia.

She made videos of the abuse on her phone and brought them with her when she moved to Jacksonville, Florida.

Cops raided the woman’s home after receiving a tip-off, with Slayman arrested after the videos were discovered.

Dale Carson, Slayman’s attorney, said she was ‘critically instructed’ by her boyfriend to abuse the child and record it.

‘Following [her boyfriend’s] orders, Ms. Slayman then sent those videos from her cell phone to [him],‘ Carson wrote, according to NBC12.

‘Ms. Slayman immediately deleted the video off her cell phone. Unknown to Ms. Slayman, [her boyfriend] copied those videos onto a USB thumb drive.

‘Later, [her boyfriend] personally brought the thumb drive to Jacksonville in 2017 when the couple moved from Virginia.

‘[Slayman’s boyfriend’s] purpose in retaining the videos was to later extort behavior consistent with his desires.

‘[Slayman] gave as much information to the Government as she possibly could in hopes of [her boyfriend] also being held responsible for his role in these actions, though he has not yet been indicted.’

Not clear is whether Slayman at any point resisted her boyfriend’s alleged overtures and why she chose instead to put the boy in harm’s ways by following through.

She will now serve four decades in jail, with the rest of her life spent under supervision after release.

Told James Spero, an agent with Homeland Security. ‘While today’s sentencing marks an end to the investigation and prosecution of this criminal, it is important to remember that a child will carry the scars of this crime for their lifetime.’

Slayman was born in Mechanicsville, a suburb of Richmond, Virginia, and had no criminal history prior to her arrest over the child pornography charges.
