Sara D’Spain a Texas high school teacher has been arrested on suspicion of having an inappropriate relationship with a male student.
Upon her arrest on Thursday, the 38 year old married educator was taken into custody in Kerrvile, where D’Spain was charged with one count of improper relationship between educator and student.
The Kerrville Tivy High School teacher was later released that afternoon after posting $35K bond.
A report via MySanAntonio.com told of D’Spain’s arrest coming as part of a broader ongoing investigation targeting two school district employees.
The teacher’s arrest follow school officials announcing last week that D’Sapin and another teacher, who has not been named, being placed on administrative leave.

D’Spain is certified to teach pre-kindergarten through eighth grade, and she is also a certified English as a Second Language teacher.
Police have declined to tell the age of the victim, only to say the boy was a minor. Police also declined to state the exact nature of the boy’s relationship to the teacher, or the timeline of the improper relationship.
It wasn’t immediately clear what led to D’Spain usurping her position of authority, trust and power in her dealings with the boy.
Online records and social media posts suggest that D’Spain is married and lives with her husband and their two daughters in Bandera, Texas reported the dailymail.
If convicted, D’Spain could face between two and 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000. D’Spain’s arrest is the latest in an un-ending spectacle of female teachers sexually preying on male students- a trend that shows no signs of abating.
