In an expose which has since raised eyebrows, Taylor Lianne Chandler, Michael Phelps purported girlfriend recently took to Facebook where she launched a sprawling tirade about the merits of her relationship with the famed swimmer.
In the posting the 41 year old woman (who takes pains to point out she wasn’t born a female before eventually becoming one) repeatedly tells of her concerns that the tabloids will take advantage of Phelps and demonize him after the swimmer purportedly took up with her. Yet what’s obvious is that by the end of the tirade, Chandler has perhaps achieved in one posting what any tabloid could have hoped to have achieved. The sell out of Michael Phelps. Which raises the question why did she bother?
Explains Chandler: I was born intersex (## editor’s note: born with a penis but no testicles and a uterus but no ovaries) and named David Roy Fitch at birth. By the time I could walk and talk I made it clear I was a girl and dressed as one. In my early teens I was medically diagnosed and went on testosterone blockers, at 15 estrogen enhancers. My birth certificate was modified along with my name while I was a teenager, prior to any corrective surgery.
Why Chandler chose to make this news public is anyone’s guess unless of course she was hoping to become news by association to a famed swimmer?
Chandler’s existence first came to the fore when The Hollywood Gossip previously named Chandler courtesy of a ‘tipster’ as Michael Phelps’ companion the night of his latest DUI, a claim repeated in Chandler’s recent Facebook post (interestingly there has been suspicion that the tipster was Chandler herself but that’s another story).
Nevertheless perhaps concerned that her name was out in the public (and who really cared anyway?) Chandler decided to let the cat out of the bag and tell us the public not only was she not born a woman (who resorted to hormone therapy and severing her penis in later years), but that in fact she met the famed swimmer via hook up app, tinder, and managed to have sex with him on their first date whilst they were halfway through watching a football match. Touch down indeed. But this is just Taylor Lianne Chandler’s merry way of protecting her boyfriend. Right? Spill the beans before the tipster beats her to it?
Explains Chandler further: Yes, I was with Michael the night of the DUI, the story of the Uber and crying and me wanting to stay with him that night are true. A lot of the other things printed are lies. I am probably going to lose him because he is a brand that his team wants to protect and things since he went to rehab came to my attention that didn’t put him or our relationship in the best light. He is the first man I ever had intimacy with and felt comfortable and all woman.
I am probably going to lose him? Then why even take the risk? Why even bother posting the intimacies of ones’ romantic dalliances for the public to see? Why expose a purported partner who one presumably cares about to scrutiny, vilification or the suggestion he is into he/she sexual turns on? Unless of course Chandler already lost Phelps to begin with?
Since her Facebook diatribe, Chandler has agreed to give (the king of tabloids) radaronline an interview (how much money did Chandler agree in exchange?) where she discusses in more intimate detail how she came to get it on with the swimmer and of course of her concerns of the ‘threat of the media exposing me forced me too.’
I am telling my story to take the power away from the media and tabloids that want to hurt Michael and I. I will probably lose him, which hurts like hell.
Which is really Taylor Lianne Chandler’s way of saying she’s available for any tabloid interview that comes her way, after money has been deposited into her checking account of course. So much for protecting her ‘new boyfriend,‘ Michael Phelps….
