ISIS have released a 29 minute video (see entire video below) showing the beheading and shooting execution procession of up to 3o Ethiopian Christians.
The video titled, ‘Until It came to them- clear evidence’, echoes a previous video leaked two months ago which saw the similar procession of 21 captured Ethiopian coptic Christians to their eventual slaughter and massacre along the beach prior to their eventual beheading by the Islamic terrorist group.
In the new video, released Sunday, dozens of ISIS militants are seen shepherding a procession of at least 15 men along a beach donning orange style jumpsuits, while an intermittent sequence depicts the lining up and shooting of another group of 15 others in a desert landscape.
The video shows the captive men being held by their necks by ISIS militant fighters wearing combat gear with balaclavas covering their faces.
A sequence then shows the men being forced to kneel at a final destination as combat fighters stand behind the men wielding rifles.
In a show of propagandistic ambitions the 29 minute video also features scenes of militants destroying churches, graves and icons which it describes as a ‘history of Christian- Muslim’ relations.
It isn’t until the video reaches the 25 minute mark that the real gore is shown as a masked fighter in black, brandishing a pistol is seen vowing to kill all Christians if they do not convert. A purported reference to Ethiopia’s recent attacks on neighboring Somalia, whose population is almost entirely Muslim.
Pledges the masked fighter: ‘Muslim blood shed under the hands of your religions is not cheap. To the nation of the cross we are now back again.’
The ISIS terrorist affirms that they will continue killing Christians until ‘polytheism’ is destroyed, that is, until the belief in the Trinity is destroyed.
The 29 minute video comes off the back of social media accounts and websites traditionally allied with the terrorist group believed to be sympathetic to the terrorist group.
Although the Ethiopian government has yet to officially confirm any of its citizens were killed in the morbid procession, it has released a statement calling the video as an ‘atrocious act.’
It is thought those killed may have likely been fleeing Ethiopian migrants hoping to reach Europe.
Also obfuscating claims of legitimacy of the video is who the captives necessarily are and when they were purportedly captured?
