Let’s face it, he’s no Zac Efron, but Taylor Lautner is damn fine; which is why he’s gracing the cover of the latest GQ magazine. He’s known as the highest paid teen actor racking in $7.5 million per film, which includes his next project Stretch Armstrong.
In the issue he talks about what was really going through his mind during that unforgettable moment at the MTV Music Awards when Kanye West…you know the story! He said, “I was standing behind her (then-girlfriend Taylor Swift) as it was happening and 100 percent I was sure it was staged! I thought, ‘This was something that they rehearsed.’ I was enjoying the show! But then Taylor turned around and I saw her face.”
I’m sure her facial expression was quite priceless. Even when Taylor realized the situation wasn’t staged he still didn’t do anything because he knew Kanye West would’ve whipped some ass that night.
Lautner also revealed his true feelings about coming close to not being cast to replay his role as Jacob in the Twilight sequel New Moon saying, “I’m in the gym and I’m doing reps, and I’m reading books, and I’m studying the character. I’m just saying to myself ‘I want this role. I love this role. I’m not gonna lose it. And I’m gonna know it better than anybody, and I’m gonna do that extra rep, because I’m gonna be Jacob Black.’”
And Jacob Black he is. Prepare to see more of Taylor Lautner star as Jacob Black later this month in the long awaited film Eclipse. Aren’t you glad those ripped abs can get you somewhere in America?
