Weird social media postings

Several neighbors told Local 4 they had heard the suspect’s parents had been encouraging him to find a job and contribute more around the house, though police have not confirmed those accounts.

The suspect’s family confirmed to Local 4 that the suspect is on the Autism spectrum. Some neighbors said they were aware of the diagnosis.

Ron Bozzi, a former neighbor speaking to CBSNews said the Pierce family was good, hardworking. He said Kimball was a registered nurse and Sterling Pierce a former contractor.

‘We were neighbors for 10 years; we were pretty close friends. I watched the boys grow up,’ Bozzi told the outlet. ‘Something must have happened to set him off or click.’

Jayden Strazalkowski a friend of Tanner Pierce said something was off when he recently checked the suspect’s social media page.

‘Week prior to everything happening, he (the suspect) was posting a lot of weird stuff. He was reading a book, and it said a bunch of things, and one post said something like ‘I got into an argument with my family and now they all hate me,’ Strazalkowski told CBSNews.

In the days since the massacre, a vigil continues to grow outside the family home.
