Madison Bergmann former Hudson, Wisconsin fifth grade elementary teacher sentenced to 6 years jail and six years supervision upon her release over ‘improper’ relationship with 11-year-old student.

A former Hudson, Wisconsin teacher who sent an 11-year-old boy over 35,000 texts, and who confessed to having a sexual relationship with the victim was on Friday sentenced to 6 years jail, followed by six years supervision.

Madison Bergmann, 26, weeped in court as she was handed out her sentencing after previously being convicted for having an inappropriate relationship with the pre-teen student.

Bergmann, a former fifth-grade teacher at River Crest Elementary School was first charged last year with ten felonies, including first-degree child sexual assault and child enticement after the victim’s father discovered 35,000 text messages the female educator shared with his son over just three months last year.

Bergmann was 24 at the time of the charges, and the student was 11.

Cops then searched her classroom and found a folder with the victim’s name on it containing handwritten love notes discussing how much they kissed.

Bergmann — who had been just months from getting married at the time — pleaded guilty in September to one count of child enticement and two counts of sexual misconduct by school staff as part of a plea deal.

A search of Bergmann’s belongings at school turned up 53 notes to the victim and 46 notes from him to her, according to an amended criminal complaint. Investigators said the two exchanged more than 35,000 text messages between December 2023 and the following April according to 18 News.

‘Dude I love you so much more — like I didn’t think it was possible — but oh my god today during reading….’ stated Bergmann in one of the messages.

Interactions also included the former teaching having multiple encounters inside her classroom during lunch or after school with the then 11-year-old boy.

Victim’s father addresses the court prior to former Hudson teacher sentencing

Told the victim’s father to the court on Friday,When I review the texts too, it’s very deliberate — talking about touching his leg, talking to my 11-year-old son about her period, talking about his erections … to me it’s very disturbing stuff.’

Adding, ‘To his own credit, [my son] is like ‘I have to live with this forever. Whatever punishment she receives should be forever.”

Soon after, Bergmann also addressed the court, KARE reported.

‘I want to make it absolutely clear that I take full accountability for every boundary that was crossed,’ Bergmann sobbed to the judge as she awaited her fate. ‘I hope that your family has been able to begin to heal and find some peace in your lives again. I know the journey will be long for your family.’
