Pretend food blogger looking for free meal targets Williamsburg high end restaurants in Brooklyn only to end up being arrested 9 times year to date.

Kids, it’s time to meet the next NYC hustler making her way, demanding carte blanche treatment, access and a front row seat at some of Williamsburg, Brooklyn’s high end restaurants where she will gorge herself and then pretend she’s broke, unable to pay the bill, but lucky for you ‘blog’ about the sh*t in exchange for a take home doggie bag to boot.

Yes kids, let’s lay out a loud long applause for the next Anna Delvey wannabe, NYC freeloader, NYC party crasher who intends on becoming a mainstay on the scene and if she plays her cards rights, racks up a few more arrests, photo ops, she too might end with her own HBO show or Netflix series.

Lives gilded Williamsburg life but arrives at dinner table broke

Pei Chung, 34, who according to News12 Brooklyn lives in a waterfront high end luxury apartment in Williamsburg has come to make a name for herself as a hopeful ‘dine and dash’ diner at some of Williamsburg’s high end restaurants. With 2025 yet to be over, the wannabe food blogger has been arrested no less than nine times for her antics year to date. And if she’s lucky a few more times when she figures out there are other high end restaurants and foodie scenes in Brooklyn.

Some of the candidate restaurants where Pei Chung has attempted to ‘eat for free’ include Peter Luger Steak House on Broadway where according to manager, Michael Costa, the wannabe foodie has arrived several times dressed looking a million bucks with accompanying Prada heels, Louis Vuitton handbags and Hermes belts, and presumably looking rich and part of the scene.

Yes kids, in NYC, looks and attitude go a long way. Especially bad ass attitude along with an air of defiant entitlement. Even if it’s all fake

In one episode, Chung stayed at the table for two six hours, continuing to order food and take photos.

Fake food blogger would run up tab then announce they don’t have money

After she refused to pay the nearly $200 check, a manager called police, who handcuffed her and escorted her out. He added that she later tried to return to the restaurant several more times.

In another episode, Chung hid in the bathroom for 45 minutes before servers were sent in to retrieve her.

Sorry kids, that’s on Peter Luger. You would think by now there would be a poster of Pei on the front door warning the door girl forbidding entry.

At another nearby establishment. Patricia’s, a server told News12, Pei ordering rib-eye steak and linguine and clams.

Explained the server, ‘When I brought the bill, she started taking pictures and said, ‘I don’t have money,’’ he said.

Wannabe food blogger, faking it until you make it

The server also said she claimed to be an influencer.

Define influencer? The vague ephemeral disposition of aspirational perilous Jetset existence. But I digress.

As an aside, Pei would not be the first or last food blogger willing to exchange photos and a write up in exchange for a feed, but that sh*t is arranged ahead of time, before the wannabe ‘influencer’ gorging themselves and then only at the end, once all the food and drinks have been consumed announced that she has a ‘free write up’. Never mind stiffing waiters of what they assumed would be a hefty tip.

Of note Chung, has 14.5 K followers on Instagram (handle @lu.pychung/Instagram) where there are more images of her scantily clad than anything involving food.

Explained an anonymous duped restaurant owner, She looked like she had money. She even had a fur coat on when she came in, that’s why I didn’t expect anything.’

In one episode at high end boite, Francie, late October, Chung attempted to barter her $188 food bill only to later promise her ‘family’ would send her money to settle the bill. Do you suppose…?

Chung feeling adventurous would try the same feat last week only this time to be arrested and handcuffed at the bar on theft-of-services charges. In another episode, the vixen wannabe food blogger is alleged to have offered ‘anything’ the server wanted if they agreed to pay the bill.

And that’s the thing. Expect anything and everything in a city like NYC where hustling, freeloading, social climbing, leaching, pretending, air kissing and grifting is the name of the game and art of making it in NYC.
