Enajaim Bowman, Newark, N.J man surrenders after stealing $18K cash from 14 Dunkin Donuts locations, before cops id him as serial robber.

A Newark man turned himself into New Jersey authorities after the wanted man allegedly robbed no less than 14 Dunkin Donut outlets over 5 weeks and netting $18K in stolen funds along with causing $10K in damages.

Enajaim E. Bowman, 24, turned himself in on Feb. 24 after authorities identified him as a suspect during a weeks-long investigation. The man’s robbery spree stretched across Bergen, Middlesex, Morris, and Union counties.

Through mid December to mid January, the serial robber allegedly broke into 14 Dunkin’ Donuts locations after hours and stole anywhere between $700 and $3,000. At one location in Edison, he walked out empty-handed — but left behind $500 worth of damage, according to the Hackensack Police Department.

Bowman during his robberies would leave no stone unturned, breaking into safes, cash registers, and even managers’ offices in a bid to score cash. The Dunkin Donut robber primarily made off with cash and gift cards, cops said.

Bowman is alleged to have even attempting to rob a 15th outlet, but was unsuccessful, Hackensack police said.

Cops said the thief operated on a strict schedule, hitting three to four locations once every week or two. Robberies would typically take place from 1 a.m. to 3 a.m with the robber typically bringing home thousands each night, N.J.com reported.

It was this consistency and planned execution that ironically led cops to Bowman, who were soon able to identify him as the robber, and preempt a 15th robbery and the man eventually surrendering.

Bowman upon his arrest was charged with 14 counts of third-degree burglary, one count of attempted burglary, 12 counts of theft, and multiple criminal mischief charges, according to Hackensack police.

The sweet tooth robber remains held at Bergen County Jail.
