A Texas man is alleged to have intentionally rammed his mini four-wheeler into multiple parked Tesla vehicles in an a hit and run spree.

Demarqeyun Marquize Cox, 33, was arrested after he was recorded by a Tesla he purposely ran into on Tuesday, Texarkana police announced. The man’s arrest comes as police suspect him to being responsible for a string of ‘vandalism’ attacks against Tesla vehicles across that city, ABC7 reported.

The bandit, believed to be upset with controversial DOGE head, Elon Musk, allegedly spotted one of electric vehicles made by Musk’s Tesla company, sitting in the parking lot of a Golden Palace Chinese buffet while the car owner was having lunch inside.

Cox loaded back and rammed head-on into the side of the red Tesla, according to video obtained by KTBS.

The 5-foot-2, 449-pound driver left noticeable damage to the front driver-side door, owner Virita Carstaffin told the outlet. Carstaffin said she would have to shell out over $1,000 to replace the entire door.

Police were called to the area of Cox’s rampage after a second Tesla was damaged at a nearby Lowe’s, the Texarkana Police Department said in a Facebook release.

The 4-wheel driver was stopped by cops just over a mile south of the Golden Palace as an officer recognized Cox from the Chinese buffet video.

Cox allegedly claimed to be a different person and provided a false name during his initial interrogation with police. Despite attempting to dupe officers, cops arrested the man.

‘Based on what they had seen in the video they knew for a fact that he was the one who at least hit the initial Tesla,’ Texarkana Police Public Information Officer Shawn Vaughn told the outlet.

Cox was charged with felony criminal mischief resulting in damage between $2,500 and $30,000 and failure to identify, police announced.

Protests over DOGE lead to sting of Tesla vandalism and national protests

A third damaged Tesla was reported after the arrest.

Cox according to a criminal affidavit had carved “ELON” into the side of the other two cars, seemingly a reference to Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

Cox has only been charged with damaging the first car but officials said the investigation is ongoing and there may be more charges filed later.

He is being held at the Bi-State Justice Center on a $105,000 bond, according to jail records.

Cox’s smash and ram is the latest incident of retaliation and nation wide demonstrations against the Elon Musk owned company, following the billionaire’s work inside the Trump administration where he heads up DOGE and engendered concern over that department’s alleged overreach and wide firing of federal workers as federal agencies are gutted.

The episode follows several Teslas being set on fire at dealerships, while others have defaced the cars with anti-Trump graffiti.

US Attorney General Pam Bondi charged three individuals accused of setting fire to the Teslas with ‘domestic terrorism’ for their alleged crimes.

Similarly a man was arrested earlier this week in Florida after driving his SUV onto a sidewalk where protesters had gathered outside a Palm Beach, Tesla dealership demonstrating against DOGE cuts and disruptions to social security and retirement benefits. The suspect in that incident was taken into custody on ‘aggravated battery with a deadly weapon’ charges, seemingly avoiding terrorism charges.
