Sophia Ross, Saratosa, Florida Hooters waitress caught on bodycam video trying to get out of DUI arrest flirting and trying to seduce officer.
‘I will do anything for you daddy…’ A Florida Hooters waitress suspected of driving under the influence is alleged to have tried getting out of being booked after ‘flirting’ with an arresting officer, only to call the officer a ‘nerd’ after rebuffing her advances, newly released body cam video shows.
Sophia Ross, 22, of Saratosa was captured on camera during a November traffic stop that landed her in handcuffs for allegedly driving while impaired.
The Hooters waitress, who told police she worked at the saucy themed restaurant notorious for scantily clad female staff, made several attempts to ‘seduce’ the cop, in a bid to get out of being arrested, according to bodycam video obtained by WFTV this week.
‘I will do anything for you, daddy,’
‘We’re gonna make out here,’ she told the cop, who quickly rejected that proposal, the footage shows.
Undaunted, the Hooters waitress who came in at a .318 BAC at the police station (despite repeated attempts to submit to a field sobriety test) referred to the officer as ‘daddy’ numerous times, according to the clip.
‘I will do anything for you, daddy,’ Ross is heard saying during one cringe worthy moment.
The officer kept his composure and was occasionally heard laughing.
‘I can’t keep my hands off of you,’ she said, before the officer replied, ‘Unfortunately you’re gonna have to.’
But where there is a will, there’s a way.
Ross goes one further as body cam shows her lifting up her sweatshirt to reveal the Hooters tank top she had underneath.
Eventually, as it became apparent her flirting wasn’t going to work, Ross turned to mocking the officer.
Hooters waitress schooled
‘Bro, don’t be such a f–king nerd, bro,’ she exclaimed.
The drunk waitress mocked the officer by repeatedly saying, ‘I am a nerd,’ as the officer tried to warning Ross that the bodycam was recording the entire incident.
‘Anything we do is recorded and anyone can see that,’ the cop said. ‘Mom, dad, grandma, family.’
‘You think I give a f–k?’ Ross shoots back.
Ross was charged with DUI, but pleaded not guilty and has a pretrial hearing pegged for Thursday, Law and Crime reported, citing records.
Authorities said Ross was pulled over after she allegedly stopped at green lights and ran into several curbs,
At one point, Ross relented, admitting she’d been drinking at a bar before she was pulled over.
‘While the video circulating online may seem amusing to some, it’s important to remember the serious and dangerous consequences of impaired driving,’ Sarasota Police’s public information officer Cynthia McLaughlin told The Independent.
‘Our officer maintained professionalism throughout the encounter, ensuring that this driver, whose breath test results were more than four times the legal limit, was safely taken off the road.’
