William and Zachary Zulock married gay couple sentenced to 100 years for sexual abuse of adopted sons who the adopted Atlanta, Georgia parents shared with a sex ring. Parents filmed abuse amid pretend images of happy life to the outside world.
A married gay couple from Georgia who were convicted of sexually abusing their two adopted son will be spending the rest of their lives behind bars, with no chance of parole.
William and Zachary Zulock, 34 and 36, once darlings of the LGBTQ scene in Georgia were each sentenced last week to 100 years in prison without the possibility of parole, the Walton County District Attorney’s office announced.
‘House of horrors’
‘These two Defendants truly created a house of horrors and put their extremely dark desires above everything and everyone else,’ said District Attorney Randy McGinley, according to WSB-TV.
‘However, the depth of the Defendants’ depravity, which is as deep as it gets, is not greater than the resolve of those that fought for justice and the strength of the victims in this case. The resolve I have seen from these two young victims over the last two years is truly inspiring,’ he added.
The jail sentencing follows the Zulocks both plead guilty to charges of aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy, sexual exploitation of children and incest, in August and October, FOX5 reports.
The case began in July 2022 when the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding suspected child sexual abuse material (CSAM) uploaded from a Walton County IP address. Investigators traced the materials to the Zulock residence, where they discovered evidence of extensive abuse.
The Zulocks who had adopted the boys years earlier, during interviews admitted to abusing the children. Authorities seized over 7 terabytes of electronic evidence, including surveillance footage and cell phone records, documenting the abuse. Investigators also uncovered graphic text and social media messages discussing the crimes, leading to the two mens’ arrest.
Illusion to outside world vs dark secret at home
The abuse against the brothers, who are now 12 and 10 years-old is thought to have begun when the boys were as young as three and five years old at the time of their adoption from a now defunct Christian agency in 2018.
The couple regularly shared images of their seemingly picture happy family life in their affluent Atlanta suburb.
While Zachary worked in banking and William was a government employee — and to the outside world appeared to be living a well adjusted life with their adoptive sons, the reality was anything but.
The couple according to prosecutors were regularly forcing their adoptive sons to have sex with them, and would film the abuse to make pedophilic p*rnography.
Evidence showed they even bragged about the abuse to friends, with one telling police Zachary once sent a Snapchat message reading ‘I’m going to f–k my son tonight. Stand by,’ along with images of the boy being abused.
The ‘adoptive parents’ allegedly used social media to pimp the boys out to at least two men in a local pedophile sex ring.
The two men were arrested after an alleged member of the ring was caught downloading child p*rn, and he told the investigators how the Zulocks were making illicit content with young boys living in their house.
Some of the seized content involved the adoptive parents sodomizing the boys and forcing the children to perform oral sex on them.
Of disconcert, the couple was able to adopt their two sons despite Zachary having been accused of sexually abusing another boy in 2011. That allegation was reported to police but never investigated by prosecutors thoroughly enough to warrant charges.
