Alison Jillian Chao, Monterey Park, California girl goes missing after leaving from her dad’s home to her aunt’s residence by bicycle only to never arrive.

A California teen girl riding from her dad’s Monterey Park home to her aunt’s residence some 4 miles away on Tuesday failed to arrive as the girl’s family now frantically seek to find her whereabouts.

Alison Jillian Chao, a straight A student left her home in the 200 block of North Ynez Avenue, Tuesday at about 5:30 p.m., police said. She was on the way to visit a family member in nearby San Gabriel, but never arrived at the home.

Annie Chao, the mother of Alison, described her daughter as bubbly, upbeat and full of energy. Ring camera footage showed Allison heading out from her father’s home around 5:30 p.m, NBC Los Angeles reported.

‘Parent’s worse nightmare…’

‘She took her bike from her dad’s house and rode down the driveway, headed towards her aunt’s house in San Gabriel and never made it there,’ the mom told the outlet. ‘It was really hard to comprehend. You know, I don’t think your mind can understand what’s happening in that moment. I just, it’s been a lot of sleepless nights.’

Annie Chao says her daughter was entering her junior year at Mark Keppel High School and has no history of running away. She has made no contact with friends, and there’s been no activity on social media, Chao said according to KTLA.

‘I haven’t slept in days, and it’s just every parent’s worst nightmare,’ the mom added.

The more time that goes on, the scarier it gets,’ Annie Chao reiterated. ‘I’m afraid the public will lose interest, and it will be harder to find her. There’s less evidence.’

At the time of her disappearance, the teen was wearing a purple t-shirt, black shorts and dark shoes. Alison was riding a blue mountain bike and carrying a black backpack.

Family members described her as an Asian female, about 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighing 96 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
