Rudy Farias, Houston, Texas missing man found 8 years after sudden disappearance while walking family dogs. What happened to then 17 year old teen?
Where has he been for 8 years? A 25-year-old missing Houston man who was reported missing eight years ago was found alive over the weekend after abruptly vanishing while walking the family dogs.
Rudy Farias, who went missing in 2015, was reunited with his family Saturday, the Texas Center for the Missing tweeted on Sunday.
The then missing teen was found by Good Samaritans at a local church on Saturday with cuts and bruises along his body. He has since been hospitalized, KTRK-TV reported.

Farias, then 17, disappeared while he was walking his two dogs near his family’s home on March 6, 2015. While the dogs made it back home, Farias never did, according to a missing person organization.
Fariah’s mother told KTRK that Rudy was found with cuts and bruises all over his body and blood in his hair and believes he was badly abused and beaten.
Rudy’s mother said family members had tried talking to him, with the 25 year old only say a few words and going into a fetal position. She said it would be a long healing journey but is thankful her son has been found alive.
At the time of his disappearance, Farias suffered from depression, PTSD and anxiety, Texas EquuSearch stated in 2015.
‘It is possible he is disoriented as he has not been taking his medication,’ the organization said back then as they launched a search for Farias.

Years before he went missing, his brother was killed in a motorcycle crash, the family said in 2015, according to NBC News.
‘He watched his best friend die right in front of him,’ Brenda Paradise, a private investigator hired by the family said in 2015.
Texas EquuSearch director Tim Miller called the latest development a miracle.
‘How did this happen? We believe in miracles and this certainly was a miracle,’ Miller told KPRC. ‘I can’t even tell you how many times we searched and how many leads and tips came in and they just kind of faded away and now all of a sudden, this.’
Miller also said there are a lot of questions surrounding Farias’ disappearance and his sudden return. It remained unclear where the man had spend the last years and how he survived.
‘There’s a lot to investigate to kind of see what happened, where it happened, how it happened,’ he said.
Authorities did not initially believe foul play was involved when he went missing.
