Victoria Anne Cranmer, Little Egg Harbor, N.J woman charged with sex crimes after abusing child and sharing video content on Snapchat. One episode included video of babysitter touching private parts and laughing.
A 25-year-old New Jersey woman is accused of s*xually assaulted a child under 13, recording the alleged abuse and shared at least one of the videos on Snapchat.
Victoria Anne Cranmer who also tended to the victim as the boy’s babysitter, according to charging documents recorded a 14-second video on May 6 inside the bathroom of a home in Little Egg Harbor while the alleged victim was in her care.
Incriminating cellphone video
The investigation began on May 20 after the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency referred the allegations to the Little Egg Harbor Police Department and the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit.. Detectives later obtained search warrants for both a cellphone allegedly used by Cranmer and her Snapchat account.
Investigators say they discovered additional videos saved in Snapchat’s ‘Memories’ feature. Court documents further allege that at least one of the recordings had been shared on Snapchat according to NJ.com.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, the cellphone had originally been purchased for Cranmer as a birthday gift by a former roommate. After asking Cranmer to move out following concerns about her mental state the roommate requested the phone be left behind. While reviewing its contents, the roommate allegedly found the recording, saved a copy of the video and later turned the device over to investigators.
The friend was informed about a change in the behavior of the victim by the boy’s mother after letting Cranmer stay in the house for about three months. At times, Cranmer babysat the friend’s daughter as well, according to the affidavit.

Authorities said they were also able to identify Cranmer through several distinctive tattoos visible in the recording, including a tattoo on her leg specifically depicting ‘boobs,’ a ‘lightning bolt and a mushroom,’ according to the affidavit cited by Jersey Shore Online.
It was stated that in one of the videos, Cranmer could be seen sitting on a toilet, exposing her private parts while the child was touching her, and the woman was laughing and talking with the child during the alleged assault.
Little Egg Harbor, N.J babysitter charged
Cranmer was arrested Tuesday and charged with second-degree s*xual assault, second-degree manufacturing of child s*xual abuse material, third-degree possession of child s*xual abuse material and third-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
Cranmer was arrested and booked into the Ocean County Jail on July 8th, where she contines to remain without bail.
