Andrew Walker Texas Christian University (TCU) student kills self weeks after hazing arrest. Fraternity brother jumps to his death in latest setback for school fraternity.
A Texas fraternity brother who was arrested on hazing charges has fallen to his death on campus in an apparent suicide.
Dallas News reported Andrew Walker, 19, being found dead Thursday night on a walkway of the Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.
Authorities believe Walker jumped from the fourth floor of an apartment complex parking garage and died from blunt force injuries.
The Fort Star Telegram reported Walker originally hailing from Westford, Massachusetts.
Walker’s death comes weeks after he was arrested in connection to a Sept. 3 hazing incident at the Kappa Sigma fraternity house. Walker and another fraternity brother, Christopher Barker, allegedly plied freshman pledges with (10-15) vodka shots and forced them to eat expired guacamole.
The alleged hazing resulted in one of the freshmen ending up in the hospital for alcohol poisoning. Authorities said his blood alcohol level was determined to be so high that he could’ve died.
September’s hazing incident led to, ‘National headquarters and Texas Christian University suspending all activity by Kappa Sigma until the investigation is complete,’ according to TCU spokeswoman Holly Ellman in an email at the time.
September’s episode was reported as being at least the third reported hazing incident at the university since 2016. In December 2017, the Delta Tau Delta fraternity chapter at TCU was suspended for hazing, according to the fraternity’s national office. It remained unclear how or why hazing remained endemic at the school. Or how such behavior reflected ‘bro’ college culture.
School officials said grief services would be available for students in the wake of Walker’s death.
‘Texas Christian University is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of one of our students, Andrew Walker,’ the university said in a statement. ‘We are a small campus community and a death among our Horned Frog family wounds us all. We send our heartfelt thoughts, prayers and condolences to the family in this difficult time.’
Oh boy I bet you feel so good, he just hasn’t cleaned his life up at all has he? Since you are from Texas Christian University isn’t Christianity about forgiveness? Or have I been following incorrectly all along?

You would think that at a Christian university things would be different, but what do you expect when one of their chants literally says “Give em hell , TCU” which means Texas CHRISTIAN University 🤨🧐

so ironic that some Texas CHRISTIAN university students were cussing and threatening Steven Crowder. Not very Christian is it

Idont feel sorry for him because that kind of hazing has been wrong for years. The ones who drank and ate were not innocent. This has got to stop. Now his family has to mourn because of something that could have been prevented. #Grief4U https://t.co/KejMMZBG0c
