Henri Morris a married software executive has been sentenced to ten years after admitting he drugged a female employee so he could take naked pictures of her.
The man’s capture would come after the 67 year old CEO of Edible Software Solutions was caught in a FBI sting after investigators were approached by one of the man’s victims.
During that meeting, a female employee told that her drink had been spiked by Morris after they traveled together from Houston, Texas to New Jersey for work in May, 2011.
Upon waking up the woman found herself naked whilst her boss stood over her taking pictures of her on his cell phone.
Henri Morris’ subsequent arrest would come at Bush County airport after the unnamed woman agreed to covertly work with investigators.
As the man sought to pass airport security, his bags were checked, revealing a kit which included strong sedatives and viagra.
From there a task force was set up to probe the software executive, ultimately finding eight employees claiming Morris had abused them.
Prosecutors alleged the man was a calculating sexual predator who brought rape drugs on business trips to use on employees.
His defense team initially tried to argue that the women all willingly drank to excess with clients and that no abuse had ever occurred.
Ahead of his trial in December, Morris pleaded guilty to a single charge of drugging and abusing a female employee, in exchange for prosecutors dropping other abuse charges.
Told the executive during yesterday’s sentencing hearing: ‘There is no way to adequately express my remorse and my abject humiliation,’
‘I apologize to anyone who I have hurt and beg for their forgiveness.’
US District Judge Melinda Harmon sentenced him to 10 years in federal prison without the possibility of parole.
She also reportedly ordered that he spend the rest of his life under the supervision of the US Bureau of Prisons.
