In short it boils down to women want to be with men who have power- power to provide for them when it (if) comes round to child rearing and the brood, power to calm them down, power to replicate surrogate daddy roles, power to be just like our collective hero on the billboards, TV screens, magazine covers (never mind the high jinks orchestrated marketing machine that are really only interested in moving products and capitalizing on your inertia and insecurities- blah). Nice guys- ladies, let’s be honest are the last things on your mind- that’s why you all fight for the same guy with all the toys, bad manners and the cash. I know I am being vulgar- but then again so are you.
Now it’s Fran Farber’s turn to pitch in. Let’s have a look at what Fran has to say?
Well girls- is Fran right? Are half the guys in NYC – gay? I doubt it- but maybe half the guys where Fran likes to socialize (yes Fran – I like to occasionally socialize with the jet set and society folk where half the men are indeed gay, snots, preppy and yes very good looking- but never mind- I will still lick shine my stilettos for a chance to have them look back at me).
And really Fran- are there really 15 guys to every woman? Or is it 15 women to every guy who has money, power, clout and looks- that seems reasonable- the same way there are 50 guys for every girl between the ages of 19 and 29 who have killer looks, bonbons and a modeling portfolio.
Kids- why can’t you love the reality of being instead of the fabricated vices of your libido. Why? Because that’s the way our libidos are hard wired, but for those of you evolved to look past the obvious (and there are many of you) there will always be love and one hell of a nice guy.
If only I could just find a nice girl too…blah!
