Combining street art with fashion, Johnson’s work explores the intersection of these two underground disciplines in the form of Walls360 graphics that collage pulp novels, graffiti art, skateboard culture, and comic books in Johnson’s “urban surrealist” style. Johnson’s past projects include well-received murals at the Montauk Surf Lodge, Webster Hall and the U.S. Open, as well as exhibitions in Tokyo, New Orleans and a James Frey-curated exhibition at New York’s The Half Gallery.
The show is presented by artist management agency Blaise + Co. Contemporary Art in collaboration with street style site Swagger: New York.
