Who I did get a chance to speak to was designer Mary McFadden, who offered what her position was on all British influences in the US- how distraught she was with the passing of Alexander McQueen, and how much she applauded the radical sensibilities of said designers like Vivianne Westwood, Zanda Roe and possibly the recently deceased Malcolm Mclaren.

Other guests if you must know who were present included: The Lord Mayor of Westminster- Councilor Duncan Sandys, David Tufts, filmmaker Ken Johnson, the writer Sir Harold Evans, and his wife, publisher, Tina Brown, Emmy Award winning film maker Ken Wayne Johnson, Olivia Fussell and Hilda Frost Neis (handling the 2010 English Ball Chairman honors), Sir Alan Collins, John Harvey (Chairman of the Develpoment Committee), Martin Sullivan (Chairman of the St George’s Society Advisory Council), Jim Dale – Founder of the Society’s Spotlight series and other notables who managed to escape the attention of myself and our photographer, a Mr Keith Lew.

Natalie T. Pray, Nancy P. Sakas, Jack McDermott, June C. Briggs.

Matt and Mary McCoy.
