I must admit, I am a Bravo reality television show fan. I am especially fond of all of the housewives, my favorite being my neighbors, The Real Housewives of New York. The show is so charming, because these lovely ladies are actually real. On any given day, you can see Ramona Singer on the streets of the Upper East Side yelling into her phone or step into the Zarin fabric store and see Bobby Zarin actually working. It is like I am apart of the show and last night, once again, I had the opportunity to play Real Housewife when I attended Countess de Lesseps Real Housewives of New York City premier party at La Pomme.
The party was all that I imagined it to be. Ladies in full length fur coats, extra high heels, and designer duds, with stiff hedge fund managers as their arm candy. The ladies in the crowd were laughing and sipping champagne as their husbands drank whatever was in their glasses straight and looked stiffly around the room. The Zarins were floating around mingling, Ramona was dancing, and there were new housewives that were rumored to be staring in the upcoming season.
