A cursory glance exposed the sight of a rotating flotilla of ‘fancy’ boys anxiously tending to the whims of the HouseWives. It was as if it was a first time dizzy school excursion to the zoo, with the housewives the white polar bears that everyone had come to see…
Coming across Chris Young who is producing Countess de Lesseps new music ( “Money can’t buy you class.” An oxymoron I wonder)- who wrote and produced the new single and rumor had it that he might be having a starring role in the upcoming soon. Pressed further on this subject he demurred which led me to observing the antics of the main attraction herself – Countess Luan, or rather the new man on her arm. Asked if he was French, Jacque kindly responded “only when it mattered.”
I guess one will have to watch the upcoming season to get a further handle on who exactly this new man is…now that the Countess is fighting off new suitors post her recent divorce.
Unfortunately, my absolute favorite housewife Bethenny Frankel was not in attendance. After rushing home to tune into the first episode, I now understand why. With the snark, the crying, the joys, the highs, and the lows, just on the first episode, I am surprised there wasn’t a heavy weight fight on the dance floor followed by a hugging session. I am excited to see what is next for the Housewives and have come to a conclusion… ‘menopause doth good TV make’. Of course I too am compelled to wonder what life might be like to had I doting pretty boys tend to all my needs, but such is the life of a Real Housewife it seems- so much for oxymorons…let the fist fights and singing begin.
