Faithful wives in America.
Here comes the upcoming book release by once scorned wife Jenny Sanford– ‘Staying True.’ Harassed and lied to by her profile husband- Gov- Mark Sanford, dear Jenny has decided to reveal to the world how she dealt with being lied and cheated to and how at the end of the day she has come to terms with good old Mark and his merry ways and how much she still loves him. What of course makes this book interesting is the fact that the release date was moved up 3 months. We guess Jenny wanted to let all those estranged wives out there know that there is life after betrayal and if you are marginally clever(like Jenny…) there’s always a nice ‘payback.’
Reveals the NY Daily News;
The tell-all will “recall her shock and anguish upon discovering that her husband was having an affair … and the further pain when she learned – just a day ahead of most Americans – that he had not ended the affair when she believed he had,” according to the book’s publisher,Ballantine Books, a division ofRandom House Inc.
Furthermore, Mrs. Sanford – who filed for divorce from her Love Gov last month – will describe “the many ways that the seductions of power can drive apart even the most committed couples.”
We are inclined to agree with Jenny, that being scorned can be equal to heresy and that even a seductive cruiser like Mark can leave knee shaking Jenny alienated and looking for the number to her local publisher.
Continues the NY Daily News:
According to a synopsis of the book – currently posted on the publisher’s Web site – the mom of four’s memoir “reveals the private ordeal behind her very public betrayal – and offers inspiration for anyone struggling to keep faith during life’s most trying times.”
One of her tips? If your man makes his bed with a mistress, let him lie in it.
Inspiration? Mistresses? Faith? C’mon Jenny, certainly you must have had some idea that your man was a player? In any event we think Jenny has come up with the perfect revenge. After all why screw a hot boy for a come back when you can screw for a book deal? Looks like Jenny may have received the perfect ‘come on’ in the longest time. Oh well, who needs husbands when you have book publishers..?
