Ocean Pond Campground murder-suicide: Christopher Osborne shoots & kills RV blogger wife, Anissa Osborne as family members are left shocked, pointing to happy couple sharing loving photos on social media with no hint of disarray.

A woman who blogged about living in an RV with her husband was found dead alongside her husband at a Florida campground.

Anissa Osborne, 56, and Christopher Osborne, 51, were found dead after neighbors at the Ocean Pond Campground in Olustee were unable to make contact with the couple, who worked as hosts at the campground, leading to police being called.

Responding officers with the Baker County Sheriff’s Office found both Anissa and Christopher Osborne deceased inside their RV. Both had died from gunshot wounds.

RV camper couple were known for their affection and embracing the outdoors

Investigators believe the couple died in a murder-suicide, in which Christopher shot and killed his wife before taking his own life, according to First Coast News.

Despite police pointing to domestic violence as the couple’s cause of death, family members say the violence is out of character for the couple, who documented their ‘RV life’ on social media an]d were known for their affection and love of the outdoors.

In all of the photos posted to Facebook and Instagram, where Anissa documented their life living in an RV under the username @osborne_rv_life_, the couple seemed to be happy, sharing hugs and holding hands.

‘My wife, my angel. I can’t live without you,’ Christopher commented in one photo posted in November.

Family members left blindsided

Family members expressed disbelief, with Christopher’s aunt, Sharon Alvarez telling First Coast News it ‘makes no sense.’

Adding, ‘He was always posting things about the love of his life and how much he loved his wife. To know that he killed her… this makes no sense.’

The couple had married 15 years ago, after which Anissa gave up the job she had as a nurse and moved into the RV on the campground with Christopher.

Her family members said they ‘were so thrilled’ when they first met Christopher, whom Anissa’s cousin, Laura Lorenzo Curry, described as ‘such a sweet soul.’

‘But sometimes sweet souls can have a lot of things we don’t even know about.’

Ocean Pond Campground hosts appeared to be a happy couple

The Osbornes went on to become hosts at Ocean Pond Campground in early December, managing the campground’s operations and assisting visitors.

Curry said Anissa embraced the lifestyle.

‘She would say, “I love my tiny life.” She appreciated the small things,’ she recounted, describing her cousin as ‘very, very happy’ and ‘just kind of a free spirit.’

‘She was a really vibrant, bubbly personality, absolutely hilarious,’ Curry said.

Another camp host also said Anissa was excited about working as a host, describing the Osbornes as a happy couple.

She told First Coast News she last saw Anissa on Thursday, when she stopped by their site to drop off soaps.

But when she had not seen either Anissa nor Christopher by Saturday, she contacted authorities.

The Baker County Sheriff’s Office, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Medical Examiner’s Office are now continuing to investigate the shooting.

In the meantime, the couple’s family members said they are struggling to make sense of the tragedy.

‘They were a very beloved couple by their family,’ Curry said, describing Anissa and Christopher as ‘really, really lovely people.’

‘And it’s really, really tragic.’

Another of Anissa’s cousins, Deborah Helm Sells, also shared her grief on social media.

‘RIP Christopher Osborne, I am so angry at you right now, I want to beat you hard with the walking stick you made me!!’ she shared on Facebook.

‘But I know she would tell me to forgive you, and I know she loved Jesus and called him by his name, so I know she is with him now.’
