William Spencer, Oklahoma City teen stabs his older brother, Nicholas Spencer to death after becoming enraged with the sibling while playing video games at home.
An Oklahoma City teen allegedly called 911 over the weekend to say he stabbed his brother after becoming ‘enraged’ with the sibling over a video game.
William Spencer, 19, told responding officers Sunday night that he stabbed 25-year-old brother, Nicholas Spencer after becoming angry with the elder sibling.
Officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department responded to a domestic stabbing near SE 44th Street and S Bryant Avenue where they came across the elder brother suffering ‘serious stab wounds,’ KFOR reported.
At what cost video games?
Paramedics rushed the elder brother to hospital where he was shortly declared dead the outlet reported.
The younger brother who had remained at the scene was taken into custody, interviewed, where he confessed to the stabbing, before being booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center.
‘Very tragic story,’ Master Sgt. Gary Knight said during a news conference, according to Law & Crime. ‘Two brothers who were playing video games. One became enraged over the game, got mad at the other and simply stabbed him to death.’
William Spencer has since been booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on a charge of first-degree murder
