DHS releases new video of Renee Nicole Good  shooting at hands of ICE agent which shows the Minneapolis mom aka ‘anti ICE-agitator’ stalking and impeding agents as the agency insists agent Johnathan Ross was justified using lethal force. But was he?

A new video of the ICE shooting in Minneapolis posted by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on social media shows Renee Nicole Good positioned sideways on the road minutes before she was shot to death by a federal agent on Wednesday.

The video, which appears to have been shot from the second story of a home on Portland Avenue, shows that Good’s maroon Honda Pilot was parked about 100 feet up from where Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents were conducting an enforcement operation.

DHS release video claiming Minneapolis mom was stalking & impeding ICE agents

Throughout most of the video, a car could be heard repeatedly honking. It was unclear if the honking was coming from Renee Good’s vehicle or from vehicles attempting to pass her Honda Pilot SUV.

It remained unclear how long Good was parked sideways on the road, blocking traffic and why she had chosen to park her vehicle the way she did, seemingly as to preempt and provoke ICE agents.

DHS characterized this footage as new evidence showing that Good ‘was STALKING and IMPEDING a law enforcement operation over the course of the morning.’

‘The media continues to fail the American people in their reporting on the events in Minneapolis,’ the agency said in the post. ‘The evidence speaks for itself. The legacy media has lost the trust of the American people.’

Like the videos that first came out on social media, Good could be seen waving other cars past her.

DHS use video as evidence justifying fatal shooting of Minneapolis motorist mom

At least five vehicles being driven by civilians passed her before the gray pickup truck with ICE agents inside arrived with their sirens turned on.

Near the end of the video, the agents could be seen encircling her vehicle as other, on-the-ground angles of the event showed.

The video posted by DHS is the latest instance of the federal government explicitly concluding that Good’s shooting was justified at least part because she was a so-called agitator.

Regardless of whether she had come to provoke or stalk ICE operations, commentators on the web were quick to point out that the agent, Johnathan Ross, 40, had ample time to get out of the way and had instead stationed himself firmly in front of Good’s vehicle and had stood his ground as Good turned the wheels of her vehicle away from the man and turning to go right.

It is at this point, Ross is seen reaching for his holster and pulling out his gun and firing one shot in the windshield. From there as the vehicle has cleared him he then reaches across and forward and fires two more shots into the driver’s side, killing the motorist. Video posted directly below, frame by frame seems to show Good attempting to flee the scene as opposed to intentionally seeking to strike agents ( have a look and decide for yourself).

Minnesota state impeded in investigation as federal officials seek sole jurisdiction of case, raising questions

The new video comes after a conservative news outlet, Alpha News, released cellphone footage from the perspective of the Ross who shot Good.

The video shows him getting out of his vehicle and approaching Good’s SUV, which was sideways and partially blocking the street.

He then walks around the SUV, and like in the other videos posted to social media, it’s clear that Good initially went in reverse. As the car moves forward, the cellphone camera points up toward the sky as three shots are heard.

The Trump administration has remained adamant that Good was using her vehicle as a weapon and behaving as a ‘domestic terrorist’ as she ‘intentionally drove towards the agent’, according to federal officials.

Commentators remain divided as to whether Good had sought to drive into the agent or simply had sought to flee the scene, with no intent of causing bodily harm.

Whether charges are ultimately brought against Ross will also depend on whether officials can corroborate the ICE agents claims he feared for his life and used deadly force to defend himself and protect others from an imminent threat.

The FBI is leading the probe into the shooting that President Donald Trump and many members of his administration have deemed justified. They claim Ross was acting in self defense because she allegedly attempted to ram into him.

State and local prosecutors in Minnesota say the FBI is stonewalling them. Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty claimed during a Friday press conference that the FBI has not shared evidence with her office.

The Minneapolis Bureau of Criminal Apprehensions has said it is being barred from the crime scene, is not being given evidence and is not being permitted to conduct interviews.
