Sherrone Moore arraignment: Fired University of Michigan coach charged with felony home invasion, misdemeanor stalking and breaking and entering the Ann Arbor home of female victim, rumored lover, Paige Shiver who he accused of ruining his life.
Could it get any lower…? He was once making $6 million a year as the head football coach of one the most venerated college football teams in the U.S but now Sherrone Moore, a married father of three who seemingly threw it all away over an extramarital affair now faces up to 6 years jail following a Friday arraignment after breaking into his former lover’s home less than an hour after being fired earlier this week.

Appearing in court via video conference, the 39-year-old disgraced former head coach faced charges of felony home invasion, breaking and entering the Ann Arbor home of his rumored lover, Paige Shiver, 32, along with charges of misdemeanor stalking.
During proceedings, Pittsfield, Michigan police and Washtenaw County prosecutors alleged Moore, a married of father of three, entered an unlocked door and ‘engaged in a verbal argument with the victim that escalated.’ From there, Moore allegedly grabbed two butter knives and a pair of scissors while threatening to harm himself.
‘I’m going to kill myself,’ Moore told the alleged victim, as quoted by assistant prosecutor Kati Rezmierski on Friday. ‘I’m going to make you watch. My blood is on your hands. You ruined my life.’
While police and prosecutors have declined to publicly name the female victim involved, the incident report cited the residence as being in the same location as that of Paige Shiver, Moore’s former executive coach whom he had been carrying out a years long extramarital affair with prior to his firing, Wednesday afternoon.

Rezmierski said Moore and the female victim had been engaged in an ‘intimate relationship’ for a number of years. Magistrate Odetalla M. Odetalla forbid the court from identifying the alleged victim (presumed to be Shiver).
Moore allegedly fled the residence before police could arrive. He was ultimately arrested Wednesday evening at a church parking lot in a neighboring town hours after being fired at Michigan over an allegedly inappropriate relationship with a yet-to-be named staff member, widely believed to be Paige Shiver.
If convicted on all counts, Moore could face up to six years in prison and as much as $3,500 in fines, according to Washtenaw County’s Friday statement. Moore has since been freed on $25,00 bond after being ordered to wear a GPS device and continue undergoing mental health treatment.

During the hearing, Moore was told by Odetalla not to consume any controlled substances, such as alcohol or marijuana, or possess any weapons while out on bond.
Defense attorney Joe Simon insisted there is ‘no evidence to suggest’ his client is a threat to the public while out on bond.
Moore’s next court appearance is January 22.
At the time of his firing, Moore was two years into a five-year contract at the University of Michigan when he was fired on Dec. 10 with cause for allegedly violating school policy.
That means the school will not be required to pay out the remaining three years of his contract, which is worth an estimated $12.3 million.
