Sherrone Moore fired University of Michigan head football coach arrested for breaking into the Ann Arbor apartment of his alleged lover, Paige Shiver with a knife less than an hour after being sacked and accusing her of ‘ruining his life.’
Michigan police have revealed that Sherrone Moore, the fired University of Michigan head football coach breaking into the Ann Arbor apartment of his executive assistant who he had been having a month longs affair with, moments after being ousted by the college.
Moore, a 39-year-old married father-of-three, was arrested on Wednesday over an alleged assault after he was dismissed by Michigan over an alleged affair he’d been having with 32-year-old staffer Paige Shiver.

Shiver according to a report cited by the New York Post made a 911 call saying that Moore was reportedly being ‘suicidal’ after losing his $6 million a year job, and assaulting the 39-year-old after breaking into her home while in the possession of a knife.
Shiver according to recorded 911 audio accused Moore of attacking her and stalking her ‘for months.’ The fired coach had threatened Shiver with a knife before dropping the weapon and fleeing. Moore was shortly after taken into ‘protective custody’ after the man threatening to take his own life.
Prior to going to his ‘lover’s home’, Moore was apprised that he was being let go by the college following the uncovering of evidence of an inappropriate relationship he was having with a college staffer, rumored to be that of Shiver.
The Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office confirmed that Moore remained in custody, at the at Washtenaw County Jail, with charging decisions not expected to be made until the former football coach’s arraignment on Friday.

Stated Michigan University athletic director Warde Manuel in his decision to oust Moore: ‘This conduct constitutes a clear violation of University policy, and U-M maintains zero tolerance for such behavior.’
In the months prior to his firing, Shiver as her role as ‘executive assistant to the head coach,’ had been given a 55% raise to $90,000 from her previous base of $58,025. While the school had yet to confirm or deny the unprecedented pay rise, despite Shiver’s duties remaining the same, the hefty pay rise was linked to an alleged affair she was having with her former boss, Sherrone Moore.
According to unverified online speculation, so convoluted had matters become between the head coach and the executive assistant, the 32-year-old staffer was forced by her boss to have an abortion after the married dad of three allegedly impregnating Shiver.

University of Michigan declines to identify staffer head coach had inappropriate relationship with along with impregnation rumors
To date, Michigan had declined to address the rumors including claims that Shiver was the young staffer that Moore had been having a months long affair with leading up to his ouster on Wednesday afternoon.
Prior to Wednesday’s chain of events, Michigan football insiders had confirmed to ESPN that Moore had ‘been acting strange, berating assistant coaches,’ amid speculation of mental health struggles.
