Paige Shiver outed extramarital affair with Michigan head football coach after Sherrone Moore firing her after given ultimatum to end affair.
A report has told of ousted University of Michigan head football coach Sherrone Moore in the days before being fired over an alleged affair, attempting to fire the woman he had been clandestinely involved with, only for the woman, a college staffer, to go over her bosses head and spill the beans of their alleged affair.
According to the Maize and Blue Review, a subscription site focused on Michigan football, rumors about Moore’s extracurricular activities led to his boss, Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel demanding to anyone who could show that the affair was legitimate to step forward.

Under Moore’s 6 year $30M engagement, the coach was forbidden to have any inappropriate relations with staff, nevertheless, rumors soon began to swirl that the coach had initiated an extramarital affair with 32-year-old woman, Paige Shiver.
Shiver first joined the University of Michigan football program in November 2021 as the On-Campus Recruiting & Football Operations Coordinator.
She was later promoted to executive assistant to the head coach in February 2024, shortly after Moore taking over the role. Shiver who frequently shared pictures of herself on the sidelines of Michigan games before making her social media private in the past 48 hours — received a 55% salary bump in the past fiscal year, with her annual pay jumping from $58,025 to $90,000, according to publicly available records.
The pay rise came despite the 32-year-old duties and responsibilities remaining the same and fueling speculation that the 39-year-old head football coach was intimately involved with the Purdue marketing graduate.

Sherrone Moore arrested breaking into lover’s home whom he blamed for ‘ruining his life’
Leading up to Moore’s firing and his subsequent arrest hours later on Wednesday, football insiders confirmed to ESPN that Moore had ‘been acting strange, berating assistant coaches,’ amid speculation of mental health struggles.
During this time, allegations of Moore having impregnated Shiver along with forcing her to allegedly get an abortion continued to undermine the coach’s performance and the confidence of Michigan’s athletic director, Warde Manuel who had stated that he would ‘fire Moore on the spot’ if it could be shown he’d be having an extramarital affair.
Matters came to a head on Monday, when Moore was advised not to work directly with the staffer, with the head coach according to Maize and Blue Review deciding to fire her rather than transfer her to another job in the football program or the athletic department.

This in turn in led to Shiver allegedly going to Manuel with the executive assistant confiding details of an affair she was having with the head football coach.
Manuel announced Moore’s firing Wednesday evening ‘with cause,’ which would pre-empt the school’s obligation to pay out the remainder of the coach’s contract, reported to be worth between $14 million and $16.5 million.
Less than an hour after the announcement of his firing, Moore is alleged to have broken into his alleged lover’s Ann Arbor apartment with a knife, accusing her of ‘ruining his life.’
Moore who fled was shortly later rounded up and taken into ‘protective custody’ after making suicidal threats and had been expected to be formally arraigned on Friday on yet to be revealed charges.
In the immediate hours after Moore’s arrest, Shiver made her Instagram account private along with deactivating other social media profiles, including X and LinkedIn. Shiver has declined to publicly comment on the alleged break in or her role in her former bosses demise.
