Alberta Testanero, MAGA hat snatcher on NYC subway id as freelance creative director of luxury brands who has alienated former co-workers with her ultra liberal views.
An unhinged female captured on cellphone demanding a straphanger on a NYC subway train take off his MAGA hat only to end up falling face first onto a subway platform after giving chase to the wearer has been identified as a creative director for several luxury brands.
Alberta Testanero, a 55-year-old dual Italian-American citizen went viral — but for all the wrong reasons — when caught-on-video incident on the 6 train in Midtown last week showed her accusing an unidentified passenger wearing a MAGA hat (Make America Great Again) as being ‘uneducated’ and a ‘racist.’
‘If you f–king voted for Trump, you’re a racist!’ Testanero screamed out of left field at the man during the March 19 subway ride.

Alberta Testanero, MAGA hat snatcher id as liberal fanatic that has alienated former co-workers
Each to his own one guesses. But that is not the way Testanero saw it as the Karen (pejorative for privileged white female) began insistingly demanding that the MAGA fan take off his hat.
While the return of a Trump to the White House for a second term may have sent a shiver down the spines of some members of the public, Testanero, felt compelled to take matters literally into her own hands when she demanded the hapless MAGA hat wearer take off his hat – as if that would somehow resolve the troubling themes that the current Trump administration has brought to the fore: including censoring of free speech, the dismantling and gutting of federal agencies and mass firing of workers along with the threat of deportation for wrong think. All legitimate concerns.
But how should one respond to the current existential threat pervading American society?
Testanero’s ill fated attempt to address the scourge (the symbol?) and ongoing political divide within America was always destined to fail and rightly exemplifies the madness on many on the progressive left.
The video has since gone on to receive more than 5 million views. So of course it was inevitable that NYC Subway Karen was eventually going to be exposed.
Speaking to a former colleague of Testanero, an un-identified former co-worker told the nypost, that their political differences brought an abrupt end to their friendship.
‘She and I stopped being friends a while ago, as she became extremely liberal and very agitated,’ the one-time coworker told the tabloid.
‘I see nothing has changed, but now she’s gotten into the extreme, doing things like this,’ the coworker said of the subway incident, adding that Testanero was known to argue with Republicans and frequently call out people she deemed ‘racist.’

Creative director ‘with keen understanding of the relationship between corporate strategy and creative vision’
A freelance creative director and branding specialist who has worked with uppity outfits like Tiffany & Co., Coach, Bergdorf Goodman and Kate Spade, Testanero prides herself on “maintaining the highest standards,” according to her online profiles. Seemingly since removed.
States an expose of her on the web: ‘Alberta Testanero is an experienced creative professional based in New York, NY. Here are the key details about her:
Alberta Testanero is an award-winning creative director, photo art director, and designer with over 20 years of experience in the industry. She currently works as a freelance Creative Director, Photo Art Director, and Branding specialist.’
And states her Linkldin profile: ‘An experienced team leader, I have a keen understanding of the relationship between corporate strategy and creative vision,” the Murray Hill resident and Fashion Institute of Technology alum boasts on her LinkedIn. “No matter how large or small, I approach every project with enthusiasm always furthering brand vision and maintaining the highest standards.’
On a Facebook account apparently belonging to Testanero, she shared a family photo of the Obamas along with an image of ‘Joe’ and ‘Barack’ friendship bracelets. An account linking to X, appeared to no longer exist.
Testanero according to the nypost declined to respond to media inquiries and refused to comment on her saga when the tabloid showed up at her Madison Avenue apartment building Friday morning, telling the doorman to turn reporters away. Indeed.
