At what cost false kidnapping, attempted rape?
Along with admitting to lying about being kidnapped and an attempted rape against her, Uromova, a nursing student, was also charged with creating a false alarm, making false reports, and tampering with or fabricating evidence.
The judge deferred sentencing so Urumova can undergo a pre-sentence investigation.
All charges were dropped against the man who was arrested, 6 Action News reported.
Urumova made the report in April 2024, saying she was attacked by a man from behind after she parked her truck at the Redner’s store in Middletown Township.
She also claimed that a man pulled down her pants and punched her in the face before she was able to get away.
As a result of Urumova’s false accusations, 41 year old man, Daniel Pierson was charged with multiple felony offenses and remained incarcerated for a total of 31 days before an investigation concluded that Urumova had lied, and the charges against him were withdrawn.

Man looked ‘creepy’
The victim was released after police uncovered multiple inconsistencies with Urumova’s account, with the woman relenting and confessing she had lied about the incident.
While admitting that she made up the assault, Urumova said that she ‘specifically targeted’ and identified Pierson who she regarded as ‘creepy’ as her attacker because she had ‘seen him and the truck in the past’ and was able to describe him and the vehicle to police.
She described the vehicle as a dark blue Ford F-150 pickup truck with a ‘thin blue line’ sticker on the back windshield with visible dents and rust on the exterior according to a previous report via the Daily Voice.
Urumova who was found with injuries at the time, later admitted that the injuries were actually the result of an incident with her grandmother.
