Texas authorities have arrested a 29 year old man, accused of fatally stabbing his 28 year old sister and her two year old daughter at a West Houston residence.

West Houston domestic violence
The stabbing happened at the Knox Westchase Apartments on Richmond Avenue circa 3am, Friday morning
Houston police officers were flagged down by a relative who told them that a woman and her child were being held hostage in an apartment.
When police arrived at the apartment, they found the 28 year old mother and her 2-year-old daughter dead in the apartment with multiple stab wounds, FOX26 reported.
Fisher was asleep on the couch wearing clothes with blood on them, according to police.
‘As they arrived at the apartment, an occupant stepped out,’ HPD Asst. Chief J. Bryant said. ‘They immediately detained him because they noticed suspicious activity at the apartment.’
Officers also said Kendrick Fisher had injuries consistent with a physical fight.
One neighbor who didn’t want to be identified told KHOU he woke up to a chaotic scene.
‘It’s kind of like they were screaming and kind of arguing. It sounded to me like people were drunk coming in after Thanksgiving, you know, celebration somewhere,’ the neighbor said. ‘But it was loud. You know, everyone was kind of either yelling at each other or yelling for somebody.’
Suspect’s mother blames police for failing to previously arrest son
The suspect’s mother, Joanna Fischer, said she had previously warned police about her son after he threatened to kill the whole family.
Fischer blames police inaction for the deaths after warning police about her son’s ‘violent actions’ the weekend before.
‘I want to let y’all know how the police failed us,’ Fischer told FOX 26.
‘I got paperwork,’ Fisher said. ‘Family violence…we did all this paperwork.’
Joanna Fisher went on to say her son’s actions were ‘fueled by drugs.’
‘His so-called friends got him on some fake weed,’ Fisher said, according to KPRC. ‘He came home on a rampage. I had to put him out.’
Fisher said her son had recently been released from jail and has a history of violence against family members.
‘He had already beat the hell out of me, my son,’ said Fisher. ‘He did this to his family.’
‘If they would have did what the f*** they was supposed to do, my family would be still up there, my grandbaby,’ said Fischer.
Kendrick Fisher is currently in the Harris County Jail. His bond is set to $200,000.
