Corinna Slusser a missing Pennsylvania teen is feared embroiled in sex trafficking scheme say NYPD after reporting order of emergency protection.
Corinna Slusser a missing Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania teen last seen in Queens is feared to have been ensnared in sex trafficking told NYPD police officials on Tuesday.
The missing 19 year old college student was last seen at the Haven Motel on Woodhaven Boulevard in Rego Park on Sept. 20, with cops saying Slusser may be trapped in a prostitution ring.
Concerns for the teen come after Slusser recently filed a complaint against a man known for pimping out women in New York City according to police sources. At the time the teen filed a report of emergency protection from abuse while living in New York with a man.
The teenager was first reported missing in Pennsylvania but her family later found photos on Instagram tracing her to the Bronx reported the nypost.
Prior to her disappearance, Slusser has been studying marketing at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, according to her Facebook page.
Corionna’s mom, Sabina Tuorto, posted a message on Facebook begging or her daughter’s safe return.
‘My daughter was a great student , a cheerleader. She had many friends and lived her life as a normal teenager. I need her home and I cant bare anymore days like this,’ she wrote on Oct. 10.
Adding, ‘I fear the worst but I pray for the best and her to return home. Waiting for an Angel to hear my prayer’.
Several of her Slusser’s Facebook friends also posted pleas for help.
‘She filed an emergency protection from abuse while living in New York with a man. She is originally from the Bloomsburg area and has been missing for around two weeks,’ said one friend, Cameron Seely, in an Oct. 5 post. ‘She is a very active social media user and has not poster in weeks either.’
Slusser has blond hair and blue eyes and is 5 foot 6. She weighs approximately 140 pounds and large black flower tattoo in the middle of her chest, police said.
