Sondra Earle Kelly a 51 year old Charlotte, South Carolina woman has been arrested after allegedly beating up her husband with nunchucks after the man refused to go to bed with her.
At the time of the assault, the victim was watching television in the living room on Sunday evening when Earle-Kelly ‘came in and asked him to ‘go to bed with her’, according to a police report.
A report via the Charlotte Observer tells of the woman having taken taking Xanax that night, starting to throw ceramic figurines at her husband in a furious rage after the man rebuffed her.
Noted a police report: ‘She kept coming at him, assaulting him with whatever she could pick up’,
But it wouldn’t end there.
Sondra Earle-Kelly allegedly then picked up a pair of nunchucks and started hitting her husband in the face and head.
When cops arrived, the wife told she did not know why the apartment was covered in blood or how her husband had suffered his injuries.
The victim, who police say appeared to have defensive wounds on his arms, refused to be taken to hospital.
Sondra Earle-Kelly showed officers cuts on her abdomen that looked to be self-inflicted, police said.
She was taken to hospital before being booked into Rock Hill City jail, where she was charged with aggravated domestic violence.
Earle-Kelly spent the night in jail and was released on Monday on $15,000 bond.
