Improving your health isn’t something that happens overnight. Instead, it’s more comparable to a stone quietly being sculpted as it moves down a river. It could take years.
Yet we’re a society obsessed with the quick fix, the latest touch up that will allow you to sit on your settee while staying as thin as a rake.
Telly adverts will shout about it and newspaper headlines will crow about “Fantastic miracle cures” for your 50-inch stomach. Alas, fitness isn’t like an Elastoplast you can rip off in a jiffy – it takes effort and mettle.
But if all that effort seems like too much, we’ve come up with a few ways to keep your health in check that might relieve the strain. Give them a go.
Under the chin
Meghan Trainor has been crowing about it all year – but your bass is the least of your worries when you’ve been piling on the pounds.
For some, it’s all about that face and, more specifically, that double chin. After all, your visage is the first place where that chub will show.
There are a thousand articles on how to get rid of double chin, but few of them hold much weight, if you’ll pardon the pun.
What you need is something that will tighten the skin muscles until you’ve got your exercise regime in shape. Try a cream designed exactly for that and you’ll have a thinner looking face without all that pesky exercise.
15 minutes to perfection
The full season of Game of Thrones on your DVR is just too tempting. Why would you bother exercising when you can devour a load of hyper-sexed and hyper-violent sword-slashing telly?
However, your workout sessions don’t have to be a Full Metal Jacket-style drill. If you can keep up a routine of about 15 minutes a day, you’ll be able to work up a sweat that’ll keep your fitness in check.
Focus on a different part of your body every day and power through your exercise until you hit the 15 minute mark. While it won’t give you particularly toned abs, it will help you out on the road to good health.
A super approach
Superfoods (ingredients high in everything you need for a satisfying diet) are making waves in health journals, and they’re the key to meals high in health and taste.
Invest in a few cookbooks that will show you how to rustle up a few articles on how you can make great taste mix with great health. Within just a few weeks, you’ll be feeling more comfortable with your healthy regime.
