After the speeches,which included a couple of shy but charming (where does Mr Pierson find them?) young students, guests,which included a who’s who of the literary and the arts world (Michelin Thomas was there, Erin Hossier, Paul Morris, Khristina Wenzinger, Ben Greeman, Lauren Mechling, Soosan Silanee, and a bevy of dapper actresses and other pretty boys and girls- indeed) – guests proceeded to languidly lounge in Mr Lehman’s sprawling apartment where all sorts of manners of interesting conversations proceeded to fill the void.
To be sure it was an extraordinary evening and I still haven’t managed to get rid of the red wine stain. Indeed…
